Unorganized meets is what makes the outcome shitty bc everyone ends up getting confused about the details. I myself am not familiar with said route but I can clear up that the "lot" that is usually used for meeting up is the SOUTH WEST commuter lot at hwy 40 and 94. Sorry for the rant but miscommunication is why I myself don't join along with these cruises bc either people don't show up at the correct place, or people get split up due to shitty route directions.
Aside from putting up "race markers" like in the Amazing Race or printing up directions, no matter how many times I explain the route and meeting location of my cruises, even draw up a Google Map of the whole cruise, there's still atleast 1 guy that is so bad at listening, following directions, or knowing their relative location and direction that they get "lost" and then blame me for it.
And then you have the people that don't show up because their buddy isn't going to show up, or because the turnout isn't big enough. When I do a cruise, it doesn't matter if 15 or no one shows up, I'm still going for a drive regardless. lol
Getting "lost" is part of the fun. People need to take the time to look at a map and know the locations of landmarks(major highways, rivers, etc), then they can go for a drive and use the freggin' position of the sun in the sky and find their way home. This isn't 1709, it's almost 2011, no matter which way you go you'll find a road you know, a sign to tell you which way to go, or a Shell gas station with Wifi.
People need to get with the program, damnit. /end rant.
