Midwest Meet in STL

August 7th @ 4pm til 7pm in Queeny Park

Leaning for the southern lot that's on the west side of the park. Will put up a map by the end of the week of the lot, based on the number of known interests in deciding the northern or southern one.

So far for food plans, probably gonna do either...
1) Bring your own
2) Bring and share
3) Ordering pizza or something and pick it up before the meet
4) Divide into groups and go out for individual food plans

I'll toss up BBQ once I stop by the park this weekend and see if I can find any grills that are near the lots.

I'm thinking of going to Dewey's off of Kirkwood to grab a couple of pizzas and we can go from there. Or from somewhere else.

For the food plans, probably gonna do this:
1. I'm gonna get some pizzas from Cecil Whittikers and some bagels from Bread Co.
[INDENT]a. Need people to post toppings they don't like or if anything is fine. Going to order two or three, maybe four pizzas with square slices.[/INDENT]
[INDENT]b. Need people to post what kind of bagels and/or spread they would like to have. Top four bagels and top two spreads will be ordered.[/INDENT]
2. Grab a couple of bottles of soda. I'll be getting maybe two bottles of diet something and four bottles of something else. If people really do want diet, then bring your own.
[indent]a. Most likely going to be 1 Coke, 2 Diet Coke, 1 Sprite, 1 Dr. Pepper, 1 Mountain Dew[/indent]
3. Someone bring a cooler and pick up some ice at a gas station on the way for the soda.
[indent]a. I don't have a big enough cooler around the house. Probably grab two packs of ice from a gas station for whoever does this.[/indent]
4. Also need someone to bring a fold-up table or two to set stuff up on.
[indent]a. If not, we can improvise somehow to setup a place for the food, sodas, and stuff to sit on.[/indent]
5. I'll pick up some plastic cups and a roll of paper towels.

6. Since the food and soda will be out of my pocket initially, I would like to ask that people bring anywhere between $1 and $20 to pitch in for the food and drinks. If you don't want to, that's fine. You can still eat. Would just like to have enough money to work with. Maybe set up a PayPal down the road for the next meet to help fund this kind of stuff from people donating.

Just an update, got someone who is willing to pick up two bottles of soda (Coke and Dr. Pepper possibly) and another with coolers available and if he brings his CR-V, then a fold out picnic table.
