I will be leading the group to Columbia that wants to take the scenic route. We should arrive a little behind the highway 70 people.
I created 2 routes on Google Maps for your consideration and to be voted on. It doesn't really matter to me which we take. Here's the info:
Route #1 is taking 94 in its entirety from 40 til it ends at 63 across the river from Jefferson City, then a short hop north to Como. I have driven this route and I think it may be easier to follow since we'd be staying on 94 the whole time. It is 131 miles... See here:

Route #2 takes 94 to Route O to Fulton, to F then J then WW/Broadway to Como and a short bit of 63. It is more...complex? However, it is shorter at 117 miles.

Since I am leading this thing I feel a little responsible for the group following me. Some things to be noted:
I strongly suggest that everyone be aware of where we are going. Fortunately, this is a pretty straight-forward area to drive in. From 94, you can't really go south 'cause of the river, if you head east you'll end up at 40 or back at 94, if you head west you'll hit 54 and 63, and north you hit 70. If for any reason at all you happen to go off-route, PLEASE don't do anything crazy to get back to the group. If you end up "lost", give me or someone else a call. I will give my number to anyone that feels they may need it.
I know that the group WILL get broken up by regular cars(people thinking they can drive on our roads  )...pass 'em if you want to, when safe! Please don't pass in turns or no-passing zones.
As far as the pace... speed limits on these roads are usually 55mph. In town areas are much lower and PLEASE stick close to the limit in those areas as that's where cops tend to be, no need to draw attention to us. On the faster areas I usually adhere to 15mph over the limit max... too many things can happen out there and I've had close calls. You WILL have an enjoyable time at that speed, no need to go faster. This isn't an all-out road race...
Many turns are marked with recommended speeds... any turn marked 30 or less you WILL have to slow down.
Of course, these roads aren't the smoothest but they aren't absolutely terrible. If you're thinking you may damage your car by driving with us, you might not want to go. I know some dips in the road where my Miata's front wheels scrape the fender liners but nothing damaging. Other lower and/or stiffer cars might be different.
Do we need to stop mid-way? Let me know.
Basically I want this to be enjoyable and safe for everyone. We shouldn't have a problem...
Please post up if you are joining me so I have an idea of how many people to expect...not that it matters, just want to see. lol If you have any suggestions post em up!
Thanks guys!

It may be raining in which case I would be a little concerned about taking 94 due to water on the road and some of it is pretty slick. Opinions?

I have a feeling we will be good on the rain, we can make the final decision at the commuter lot
