Need a clutch...help

Post by ZenkiS14 »

Ok, so somehow, i managed to break my fucking clutch, with roughly 80 ft. lbs of torque, seriously. How the hell do you do that?
Anyway, i replaced my master cylinder thinking that might be the issue, but it didnt fix anything.

I need a new clutch.

Whats the best (reliable/driveable) OEM replacement clutch? and where do i buy it?

I dont want an aftermarket ACT, Clutchmasters, SPEC, or anything like that. Just an Exedy replacement or whatever.

Whats the standard clutch set for you Honda guys?

edit: This is for my 1994 Civic Si hatch. (D16Z6)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXEDY-NE ... enameZWDVW

or the ones at auto parts stores are fine to if its just a stock daily driver.

if ya need someone to do it. let me know, i can have it done it a couple hours.

btw....what exactly makes you go from thinking its the master cylinder to the clutch? whats the car doing? you check the slave to see if its moving?

Slave is moving. It felt like a hydrolic issue, because the clutch we never fully disengaging. And the slave wasnt leaking, and the master looked like it could be (the piston and boot was wet), and the resevoir was empty.

Anyway, i dont want to get a cheapie "knockoff" exedy. I want an authentic exedy, where is the best place to buy it? Really ebay? i dont want to get some beater chinese fake exedy.
