in the 1/8 mile traction plays a huge part well its hard to get traction with a powerfull fwd car. rwd and awd have it a lot easier in the 1/8mile cause they can get traction quicker than fwd so by the time the fwd car gets traction the rwd/awd car has a lead so the fwd car has to play catch up. by the time the fwd cars big turbo spools and it gets in the power band the race will be over. some people dont want to pay a $50 entry fee when they know the odds are against them. i know thats all you guys got out there but not a lot of people build cars for the 1/8th mile
gudg racing you're never gonna catch me!!

I don't think anyone here...besides one maybe....should have to worry about spinning on the big end. The last half won't change much if you don't spin or miss a gear.
So for people here....the first half is way more important than the last.
61mm turbos are not "big".....even on a honda.

sikeston is one of the best tracks around. its full concrete all the way down the track. if they prep it right it will hook hard. the 106mm boys don't have a problem in the 1/8th mile.
i find it more fun to tree somebody than to actually race the race.

Well if you want to talk odds... i would say the odds are pretty good considering probably 75 percent of the field will be other fwd cars...sharpie;195845 wrote:no hes just smart about it i mean lets think about it on a logical note

that still doesnt change the fact that some are n/a and dont make 600whp im sure if there were classes more people would be interested and if it was 1/4 there would be more interest im not saing its going to be a small turn out there would just be more people there if it was better odds for them to winv8this;196012 wrote:Well if you want to talk odds... i would say the odds are pretty good considering probably 75 percent of the field will be other fwd cars...
