Yes there is a rule change...open to all platforms..

fwd, rwd, and awd..

and i know the import face off is soon at kc... but not everyone can compete in those classes... trying to get more down to a everyday wrencher...

Cook please change the title to say

Sport Compact Shootout Sikeston, MO Sept. 26th..

It is an 1/8th mile track... everyone has the chance to win...

the biggest factor of me not running at things like import faceoff is because i cannot afford all out drag car with stuff like multiple power adders, tubed front ends, etc. and in your rules it basically states that anything goes as long as its classified as a sport compact car. doesnt sound like a "down to a everyday wrencher" type field if you ask me.

and dont throw the must be a licesed vehicle card cause i know just as well as anyone else knows there are ways to get tags on a car that wont really pass.

done.
it can not be a tube chassis... i know the difference in a street car and race car... there will not be full out race cars... this will be street cars...

We would really like you to race... these will be cars that you would meet on the highway or interstate... I will be doing the judging on what goes...

And we have to keep the rules simple and sweet... to keep the arguing and the fighting down... this is the simplest way..

Like i have said a million times... racing is racing... sometimes you dont always have the fastest car but that doesnt always mean you lose... alot of factors in racing,

Hooking, braking, reaction time, etc.... We dont want people to think i am not fast enough.. other then hey we have an opportunity here to have a local sport compact event that everyday owners can race at... not 9 second 1000 horse fwd etc...
