so i recently purchased a 95 ex with 144k on it. in very good shape inside and out, and is automatic.
i want to put a turbo on it, and just wanting to know what that would entail, aka motor build? transmission , or fuel.
i also dont want anything crazy, only push like 6-7 psi max, im really just doing this to give the car a little more umf like it was a v-6 or someting.
car is my daily, so i want to keep it very reliable still, but having more power as well.
any suggestions/ cost estimates?
i can do all my own work....just point me in the right direction! thanks

auto turbo and reliable = no good. do a manual swap. while youre doing the swap, get yourself a beefier clutch because a stocker will not handle any boost.

no. they only way to reliably put a turbo in an auto honda is by swapping out the auto for a manual.DaveHutch;96748 wrote:there is no way to build a strong enough auto to hold 6-8 psi? i find that hard to believe guys! cmon.....haha
