June 14th Sunday; River Road Cruise

Meeting point is the big parking lot at the beginning of River Road. Its about a 1/4 mile from the Casino, and allows everybody to get onto the river road at once, with no stop lights breaking everybody up.

Also, im pretty sure ill be there. During that week, ill be moving into my apartment in Memphis, but Jess said she has to be home for the weekend, so as long as we come back, ill be on the cruise.

Exactly, where is the location of this cruise. Sorry, I'm from Kansas City and was interested in going on this cruise.

Now how to get there, just take 367 to Alton and go left and the light at the end of 367 and you'll go through a few stop lights(IIRC 3) and on your right hand side about 1/2 mile or so down the river road will be the meeting spot.

just a side note: after you turn left at the light at the end of the Alton (Clark) Bridge, you must turn another Left at the 3rd folllowing light to get on the river road. it will be towards the big white building with the American Flag painted on it. at this point, you should be on the road directly next to the river. The meet-up spot is where the new Piasa Bird is located, as seen in the picture painted on the rocks above the red and pewter trucks.

i should be in for this, requested off work. Riding the bike if weather permits.
