Story Worm · Post by **Story Worm** » Fri Mar 20, 2009 8:26 pm

Carstar is going to be there with some cool stuff. Their bringing their super snake mustang as well as a truck full of hockey pucks signed by a blues hockey player (i'll find out which one later). Dyno is going to be 50 bucks. There will be a funny car there (fantastic plastic) and he is planning on firing it up at the show which will be awesome! There going to do the voting a little bit different this year too.

My work is donating 2 p1 rockford fosgate 12 subs for winner of a catagory (not sure which one). so if anyone's looking for some decent subs to add a little bass, better get your car looking good.

Here's a little more information on the show

"The 6th Annual Ranken Technical College Car Show and Alumni Reunion will be held on Sunday April 19th 2009 on the main campus of the college. It will take place from 10:00am till 4:30pm and is going to take place, rain or shine. This event is open to everyone and there will be a BBQ lunch available. There are 27 different classes for cars, trucks and motorcycles and 1st , 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be awarded in each class, as well as specialty awards for Best of Show, Best Club display, Best Paint, etc. It is free to spectators and only $10 to register your car. There is a free dash plaque to the first 200 entries. You can also test your horsepower on our Chassis Dyno in our new High Performance Racing Technology Center. As a special treat, we will have in attendance the CARSTAR SuperSnake Shelby Mustang that is going to be auctioned off to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. There will be a huge raffle with prizes including a Snap-On tool box and other automotive related items. In the past we have had as many as 300 cars and 3000 people in attendance and look forward to another good turnout this year. There will be tours of the technical departments open and a live broadcast by K-HITS 96 radio.
