8/3/08 StlHondas Meet and Cruise: Babler State Park

Well, I talked to Spork tonight and we're going to setup another Babler meet like last year. These are always a lot of fun. Great backroads that are very scenic. The average pace is about 45-70mph tops, so its not a cannonball run. The plan is to stop again for lunch at Dutzow Deli in Marthasville/Dutzow, MO just outside of Washington. I'll need everyone who is going to attend to chime in here and let me know so I can give the restaurant a number of people to expect. I believe Midnight Madness is the Friday before the 3rd, so it should be a pretty fun weekend.

Where: Babler State Park

When: Sunday, August 3rd
(Sunday, August 17th if it rains on the 3rd)

Activities:
11:30-12:00: Meet and Greet
12:00-1:00 (maybe a little later): Pics, softball, frisbee, ect.
1:00(maybe a little later)-> Backroad Cruise and Lunch
Following the Cruise: Sonic in the Valley for some ice cream

Feel free to bring drinks, snacks, equipment for games (frisbee, wiffleball, anything you want to play... don't just expect someone else to bring it!), and money for lunch on the cruise.

For anyone that doesn't know where Babler is or how to get there, here is a map. You can get directions from your house to the park by clicking the link.
Directions to Babler
1. Enter the park.
2. Stay on the main road.
3. Make the first RIGHT.
4. Make a LEFT when you come to the Y in the road.
5. Make a LEFT at Guy Park Trailhead
6. You have arrived (and we are probably laughing because we could hear you coming)

i will be there if im not in florida. marthasville is 10 min from warrenton, so thats a lot closer than the last meet, lol

i will be making it.

if you guys need a hand let me know. i really liked helping on the original meet a couple years ago with mike and steve. have you guys mapped out a driving route yet? or are you guys doing the same one?

Rain or shine i will be there. This was my fav STL honda event last year. No way i will miss it!

this is correct... Why would I organize a meet for the weekend I am at a wedding in Chicago :kermit:
