you dont have to run... just come to hang out and meet people.

besides... theres always too many cars there so you pay $20 for two runs. spend less money, meet some people, and then if you want to run your car, take it up on a tuesday night when its cheaper and you can do 15+ runs easily.

There is a drag racing school at gateway, where they cover the basics. I cant seem to find the link but its a very good class for beginners and experienced racers.
