SCCA Autocross event: April 6, 2008

Post by Jacques »

For those of you that are interested, the first autocross event for the SCCA is this Sunday! It's at GIR's lot, and signups begin around 8am. You can preregister online at www.dlbracing.com, and more info on the autocross events can be found at www.stlscca.org. Helmets are required (loaners are available), and the car has to pass inspection. Spectating is free if you want to just watch. See you all there!

I may show up to be a spectator. Gives me a reason to get the S out of the garage and see some good driving. Maybe we can get Jason out of the house too :)

at least you have somewhat short gearing, try coming out of hairpins in second and not having shit for rpm's. makes me look like im driving the Flinstones car, minus the Body roll.. lol

I've been wanting to get the S out on a track to learn a little more about driving it to its potential, but I hate waking up in the morning, plus the tires I have on this car are horrible, they are brand new and came with it when I bought it but the back end likes to come out anytime it gets a chance, so I need to save some money for some wheels and get some good sticky tires before it gets autocrossed.

Prolly not this one...breaking in the new radiator, and there's some tweaking I still need to do, but if you're free every Sunday, possibly around the summer months? :)
