want to complain about no drags at nopi this year?

would you like to complain that ther is going to be no drag racing at nopi this year in stl? would you like to complain that there will be no drag racing for nopi in the whole midwest? voice your opinions here:

no nopi drags in the midwest

did they decide that it didnt draw a croud in stl or what i just cant see why nopi would do something like this

this is what one of their admins stated on their forum:

I'm sorry about not having a drag race in St Louis this year. It's simply that compared to our other events, the racer turnout and interest just wasn't there. At the St Louis event, the Car Show is the biggest thing going on and brings in the most poeple. We might try again next year but it is certainly nothing personal. We will be ther with a drift in 08 but will look at a dual drag and drift for 09.

I think they will see a much smaller turn out and ether bring back drags or cancel the event all together.

its their loss, this brainfart of an idea will pretty much turn nopi into just a car show, drifting has even less turnout then drag racing, so i dont even know why they would keep it

the nopi nationals in atl is ONLY car show and recently drift and its been the LARGEST car show every year period. There are usually over 5000 cars and about 30,000 spectators.

granted yes the turn out this year will be down considerably but thats only from the people who are there just for drag.
