I didn't make this meet so I can't change the date, unless someone would like to take over responsibility with me cough*ROB&STEVE*coughsoundqjr;75368 wrote:Ok well I would change it bc I know if its on a sat I wont be able to make it and I know Chris wont be able to either.
I know I wasn't around then but supposedly some of this sites best meets were held during the cold when it first opened that's why this one was being held again to commemorate the original Mills meet.99preludesh;75369 wrote:Like I said in the shoutbox either way if its saturday or sunday its going to be 24 degrees out so no one will probably show up.

no... there were a lot of meets in the beginning because the board was so small that every post was seen by everyone, and everyone would just spontaniously meet up. It just happened that the site started in winter, we all just kinda sucked it up and got out because we wanted to lay the foundation of this board as an ACTIVE community. that carries on with weekly meets like bubble tea, sonic, etc... honestly, compared to any other forum I am on, we have a lot of open events and opportunities for people to come out and meet up.
the original mills meet was a TeamIntegra meet NOT an STLHondas meet.
If YOU are taking the time to organize this, than YOU can change the date. If someone else is saying they want it on 11/17 and they arent doing anything to plan it further, then tough shit for them.

Hi im Andrew, for those who dont know me, which is probably like everyone. But I started the thread about the mills meet, so I guess im taking the responsibility. Last years meet, was like in december and it was like 5 degrees. And like 80 people showed up, as long as people spread the word on multiple forums i think we'll be good.
But yea I can always change the date, to the 18th a sunday, most people were just agreeing with the 17th.

Forrst Park FTW, I think it would be better because some people could sneak off and do a photo shoot next to one of the dozens of landmarks in the park.
I've always wanted to do a shoot of my car there, but I'll have to wait till it's ready.

Yea we're still trying to get everything together, so dates, and places are still up for change. Ideally it'll be the 17th or 18th, queeny park or forrest park.
