SCCA Autocross Event--October 21

Post by Jacques »

The next autocross event is this coming Sunday, October 21st at Gateway International Raceway. Registration can be done online (deadline is this Thursday through www.dlbracing.com), or can be done in person the day of the event. Walk-up registrations start at 7am and ends around 8:30. Cost is $40 for non-SCCA members, $30 for SCCA members ($5 off if you register online). First car off is around 10am. The format is three runs in the morning, and three runs in the afternoon. Helmets are required, but loaners are available.

Spectating is of course free. :) Hope to see some of you there!

Cool. :) This is your last chance to do it. The next event (10/28) is an Index Challenge and is for people that competed for most of the season.

You should still come out anyway to compete, if nothing else, have a baseline to start with in terms of suspension setup.

I'm so glad I looked in here! I'll more than likely come out. Might not run, though. What are the requirements? I've never done autox but who says I can't start now? I need to get a base feeling for my suspension before I buy by my GC/Konis anyways. See some of you guys there!
