crx with b18a motor cable clutch adjustment help?
I have been driving on my new swap for about 8,000 miles (new stock clutch) and the clutch has always released high and sliped a slight bit when shifting fast in high rpms. well the adjustment rubber knob was pretty much all the way at the top of threads. I was told if I tightened it down to the middle of the threads it would release right, so I did that.. well before I did this the clutch was feeling really stiff (almost as if it were a good aftermarket clutch, 3 times stiffer than a stock 94-01 LS integra). well after I tightened the knob down to about the middle of the threads the clutch got a lot lighter and released even higher. should I keep tightening the adjustment down on the threads or is it new clutch time? I am new at this and am not sure what to try next..

cable clutch adjustment in crx????
adjusting the clutch via the knob on the clutch cable will change the engagement location of the clutch, so you can play with either loosening or tightening the cable to get a perfered engagment point.
But my question is, when you did the swap and instlled the new clutch did you resurface the flywheel? Also by driving the car with the clutch slipping will cause the clutch to "burn and glaze" the flywheel and clutch surface which can cause a premature clutch failure.
so let us know ok

cable clutch adjustment in crx????
yea I just did a new stock clutch and new stock flywheel.. I have a feeling b/c I drove it so much with it being adjusted high that the clutch is probably worn pretty badly.. so my question is, if the knob is all the way at the bottom of the threads meaning the cable is tighter, will this make the release point of the clutch higher or lower? thanks for the help
