suspension creaks

I put my suspension on. the PS front shock/spring squeaks alot, and if u push the car down, it squeaks. When you make hard turns you can hear it as well sometimes. Does this more in the cold weather. anyone know what this could be? Does something need to be lubed? or some kind of bushing gone? anyone?

Are you on Teins? LOL mine do that in the passenger rear when its cold.

did you reuse the old bushing? could be that.. my squeaks a lil w/ its cold out side, I just turn up the musc louder so i dont hear it! :lol2:

i have skunk2 and it squeaks when its cold but fine otherwise, i think its just the weather

Usually this is normal. I think it has to do with the springs contacting more and stiffing in the cold weather, and when you go to turn it squeeks because of the material is trying to stretch.

i would suspect that the springs are creaking in the seats (unless you have coilovers), you could use some lube, like brake caliper grease or lube for polyurethane bushings (it gets really sticky and wont get everywhere) use it sparingly. another thing when you did your suspension did your torque the suspension hardware while the car was in the air or with weight on the suspension? when you lower your car its always better to loosen all the bolts in the control arms/trailing arms and strut fork and torque all the bolts while the car is on the ground, the rubber bushings dont have much give so when you take a car and lower it without loosening things up and tighening them on the ground it can bind the bushings even tearing them and/or making them squeak.

I have tokico illumnia adjustables on an eibach pro-kit......stock bushings

Every bump I hit my car creaks.....winter or summer

hmmm, my coilovers never squeaked, but my swaybar on the other hand, WOW! i woud just double check the tightness of everything and maybe lube up your bushings and such when youre there.

yeah i think its the weather. mines fine in the summer but the rear end squeeks every winter
