A few suggestions for posting meets and events

WE don't have official 'rules' for this section, but I was looking at it and I thought I would offer up a few polite suggestions for posting in here, I'm doing this to help both you the poster and the reader by making it easier for everyone to keep the dates for events straight and hopefully make the meets bigger

First, please start your thread with the date for your event, if the even is a recurring thing please designate it accordingly; for example, if it is weekly put the day of the week, if it happens monthly note that, or on the first friday of the month put "first friday of the month:", etc. this makes it easy to refer back and know when things are going on without having to dig through a bunch of threads.

Second, If you are posting an event in here, why not take a few extra minutes and post it up on the site calendar too?
