JULY 22nd, Friends of Kids with Cancer

On July 22, STLScion and STLSubaru will be hosting a show open to all makes and models. There are over 30 classes. This is the second annual show and for those who were not there last year, let me highlight what it’s about.

100% of proceeds are donated to a charity (Friends of Kids with Cancer). Last year we had around 150 cars registered in the show, raising $1800 for said charity. This is not a typical parking lot car show. For the most part, the people who attend this are there because they have a good heart- not because they want to win a trophy (but I do have to admit our trophies are extremely nice).

There will be media coverage- Burning Rubber TV will be there filming, 105.7 the Point is supposed to show, and it’s looking like News Channel 5 may even be there for a short while.

This show is held at the VFW hall in Milstadt, IL which is only about a 10 minute (pleasant country) cruise from the JB bridge. Yes there will be beer, soda and food for sale!! If it’s hot out, feel free to visit the A/C inside!

Well, not sure if any of you made it... kinda hard to keep track of 160 entries, but I only saw like 3-4 Hondas. This show turned out to be a huge success again! We ended up raising $3,355.00!! Hope you all come out next year, we would have loved to have had you!
