Hood Latch

Just got my 2001 GSR and I cant get the hood to close all the way. The manual handle latches but not the main latch. Anyone know what it might be.

double and triple check that there isnt any foreign objects under the hood blocking it from closing

maybe try loosening the the mounting bolts for the latch. then move it up a lil bit at a time until it will catch. also check to see if the rubber stoppers on the core support are sitting too high.

Stretched latch cable. Check your hood latch pull handle thing on the interioir and make sure that it is pushed in all the way.
