SCCA autocross event: July 8th at GIR

Post by Jacques »

The next autocross event is on Sunday, July 8th at Gateway International Raceway's lot. You can sign up online at stlsolo.org (or http://www.dlbracing.com/default.aspx?), or register at the site from 7:30am-9:00am (first car off around 10am). The format has a morning and afternoon session, with 3 runs each (6 runs total for the day). Your best time is between morning and afternoon sessions and would decide where you place in your class. Watching is free, and if you let me know ahead of time, you can even ride along with me for a run or two to get an idea of what it's like. Hope to see you all there!

I might wanna take you up on the ride along. I've been thinking about getting into autocross.

Most Bimmers do fine in autocross...unless you're driving a 7 series or an auto.
