I<Clayton. I would like to ride. If I'm able to go I will look for you out there.

In a way, it was fun to run the crap outta that car, and had faster times than people with much faster/better prepped cars.

Kelly, heel-toe doesn't really help you that much on an autocross course anyways. Well, unless it's a more wide-open course. However, you can work on left-foot braking/threshold braking...and an auto is as good a car as any to practice on that technique. Or, get that s2000 now!
dear....i know hee-toe doesn't help. i road race as well. :thefinger: j/k

left foot braking i'm amazing at. my first car would die all the time(damn ford pos's!), so i got VERY good w/ left foot, gas, and clutch all at once. lol

honestly, i'd rather not run the millenia. this is a NICE daily, and i DO have plans for the car, but not racing purposes. she'll hold me over until i get the s2k, and i'll keep the mazda bc the S won't see shitty weather. hell...it PROBABLY won't see rain if i'm lucky.

If you're not rockin' the Millenia and can't find a car to get some seat time, let me know and you can codrive my car the rest of the season. You're helping me pay for new r-compounds though in this deal.

Lemme know! Hope I have enough runs for all the passengers that wanna ride along.

How YOU doin'? Anyways, I get some money back on ordering tires from TireRack (the tires I compete in are Kumho Ecsta V710s) through the St. Louis Prelude Club. My current set are on their last legs, so I'd like to get a new set in a couple of weeks. They range though from $168-172/tire or so, depending if I get 205s or 225s. I'm waiting on an eBay bid for an unused set for about $100 cheaper. If that falls through, or I can't find another deal on eBay, I may pull the trigger on the set from TR. You don't have to pay anything on them for now until you do decide to codrive with me for sure, and even then, I probably won't have you pay all that much honestly. We can figure something out.

Hmmm, I don't know of anyone that owned a blue SH around town. I knew a girl that owned a blue one, but it wasn't an SH. I bet mine will feel quite a bit different from your buddy's. OK, that kinda sounds bad.

I'm originally from Bloomington/Normal, IL. My buddy w/ the SH is from Champaign/Urbana, so therefore you wouldn't know him. :smashfreakB: j/k

His was stock as rock when I ran it, and still had a blast; so I'm SURE I'll enjoy yours more. :biggrinangelA: kidding!
I'm not sure what he has done anymore. I seldom speak to him these days b/c we both work crazy schedules.

So, did anyone from here make it out to the event? There were two big rainstorms, but the event still went on. Won my class and was 13th in index.
