the dpfi to mpfi swap isnt hard at all! it will take a couple hours! the wiring isnt bad at all! and the hard part to me would be the timing cuz since your switching over the head then u would wanna do the headgasket timing belt and water pump.. but g/l

thats a Mini-me swap.... the mpfi swap is just intake manifold, ecu, distributor, wiring for injectors/injector box. you don't have to pull the head at all.

but this is an OLD thread, no need to bump it, he doesn't even own the car anymore (ask me how I know)

this gold hatch will never see a d-series again. ahahahhaahaha

dude go with the d15b vtec the wiring is much easer than a zc and i love the revs i get from mine i have a 89 with a d15b vtec plus all the parts are readaly avalible should something go wrong the wiring is the hardest part. I converted my whole car to obd-1 in a couple of days. So my vote is d15b vtec

here are some of the stats

130 hp
8500 rpm red line
most parts from a z6 and a d15b(vtec-e) will fit
when mated to a cable si tranny you can get some serious speed through the gears Mine will do 90 in second (i dont do it often cuz there is no point but i do it)

Muhahahaha. I can't even believe people are still posting on this thread. I opened the civic forum to see that a thread I started was the most recent post.
