took valve cover off and put back on, now car wont start???

took valve cover off and put back on, now car wont start???
I got it, this is a weird time for it to happen, but I am guessing that on the way home last night the plastic piece the clutch pedal switch pushes in broke off b/c it wasnt there so thats why it wasnt starting.. but of course this had to happen when i took the valve cover off and messed with that.. thanks for the help.
