knocking noise from suspension

quick question for you guys, before I go through the trouble of racking my car and trying to diagnose this, I wanted to know if you guys have had this kind of problem.

When I make a left turn at low speeds (like pulling into a parking spot, backing out of my garage) my car makes a repetitive knocking noise from the suspension. I replaced my strut mounts when I did my swap (about 1 year ago) so I dont think that could be it. maybe a tie rod or something? let me know what you think.

Also could possibly be your ball joints.

i thought axles made a clicking noise, and mine are less then a year old ahhh!

i hope not, my uppers are adjustables (camber) and only 2 years old.. oh what a headache.

I dont think its axels bc they would click whenever you turn but I could be wrong. Good luck Rick and I hope you get everything figured out and fixed.

coil overs?

kates cougar and my civic will occasionaly make clicking noise fromt the front end during turns and its the spring moving on the strut is what i have found out. That might be the problem, look at the spring and make sure its seated correctly still

yea I just put new suspension on mine and I noticed that the coilovers make a little noise, but I think my top mounts are out on mine b/c mine knocks on the top when i hit small bumps.. anyway it makes kind of a repetative knocking noise so check that, or you may be rubbing your fender..
