i think it would be a big waste of money, the itr motor is not really that much of a better motor since you wont be using the head and valvetrain.
The itr motor is only really worth it if your using the whole thing. If your trying to make over 230hp all motor then you need to start with a b20 block and go from there. This is the quickest and easiest way to build alot of NA power. Remember there is no replacement for displacemet when it comes to N/A builds.
plus you can reuse your b16 head which is the head of choice and reuse your b16/gsr cable tranny which is the easier and ALOt cheaper thing to do. Switching over to a hydro tranny means, new tranny, mounts, clutch and hydro to cable conversion.

unless the you order it with the tranny you will only get the longblock. You would be ALOT better off just ordering a single ZC motor and buying a si cable tranny localy. Alot easier to swap and it will bolt right in and keep cost way downchunney;43224 wrote:I've been wondering the same thing. I was about to order the D15B SOHC vtec from hmotors with the 5spd hydro, but I believe my 91' Civic STD HB has a cable tranny in it now. So now I'm stuck with figuring out how to get the hydro tranny to work with what I have now. Also wondering how I'm going to go from 4spd to 5spd...
