I kinda wondered that myself. I was only referring to what's been done in the past. I will say I'm a nervous about bringing my car back up there since a lot of people on here are saying there's horror storiesthsmrtone1;34055 wrote:why is everyone talking about tuning... dyno day as in chill and run on the dyno... not tuning...

NOBODY is talking about tuning on the next proposed dyno day, they are all talking about tuning before or whats happened in the past. Might want to go back and read whats really posted not between the lines.thsmrtone1;34055 wrote:why is everyone talking about tuning... dyno day as in chill and run on the dyno... not tuning...
But i ask WTF is the purpose of having multiple dyno days if no tuning is involved? The first dyno day was non tune but that was ok because we were just doing base run pulls to get a idea of what everybody was starting with.
Now that i have a base run if my car sees a dyno again it will only be AFTER i do mods and ONLY for tuning. It makes NO sence at all to keep doing repetitive pulls with no tuning, all your doing is putting stress and wear and tear on the motor for no reason.
So unless there will be tuning available on the next dyno day i will show up but i will NOT be dyno'ing my car.

reason i pushing for another dyno day is because i want to get numbers for the new motor im building... didnt realize asking who is interested in cheap dyno runs would cause so much complaining...N2HIFI;34100 wrote:NOBODY is talking about tuning on the next proposed dyno day, they are all talking about tuning before or whats happened in the past. your confusing complaining with rational.
You want new numbers, then when you get your car tuned you have your new numbers. Because if you put your car on a dyno and run it hard for 3 pulls without tuning your asking for disaster.

so the other 95% of the board that didn't make it to the first one can have the same fun. You're forgetting there was ALOT of people that didn't go to the first dyno day, you did and you don't want to again. thats cool, but other people might. :dunno:N2HIFI;34100 wrote: But i ask WTF is the purpose of having multiple dyno days if no tuning is involved? your correct i agree BUT seeing as the majority of people posting in this thread were at the first dyno day, i am not seeing alot of new people wanting to get involved with trying to have another dyno day. So thats why i posted what i did.
hopefully as long as this stays close to the top maybe more people will speak up and we can get enuff people to have a 2nd dyno day for the people who did not make it to the first one.
And i said i would attend but will only participate if tuning is involved
