testing waters: adrenaline dyno day...

Post by N2HIFI »

Dyno day yes , but i would rather it be at tuxedo or lowes or even first capitial 4 wheel drive aka PUR.

I understand that we will just be using the dyno . BUT there have been to many cars to break on that dyno that should not have.

This is my view and basically my cars will not see that dyno or that shop. I have nothing personally against chuck or susan i have been associated with them for years but i just have my own opinion.

If they aren't touching the cars, and I can inspect all the strapping before running it, I would be open to it. $35 for 3 pulls isn't bad. but like chris just said, I would just assume try and get one of the other shops to host it.
I would just need to get some work done so that there is a point to dynoing the car again...

No Tuxedo Group Buy was $85hour when i had my car tuned I believe at the same time it was $75 for 3pulls

And Tuxedo Park Is a dyno pack not a roller dyno. Its time consuming taking the wheels up, and jacking the car up, that is if you can get the jack under it.

just my .02 and that is all :)

I won't be attending a adrenalin junkyard day but if we go somewhere else I would be willing lol. Hey doesn't Lowe Performance have a nice dyno setup, maybe since Cale "Runsonrice" is getting his cacr tuned there in a week or so I can talk to them and see whats up on getting a dyno day setup there.

Adrenaline FTL!

I'm with eveyone else, lets make it at Lowe. They seem to actually have people with the know-how to work on cars.

Although my car is in one piece. Adrenaline has attempted to tune my car twice and have spent 2 full days (different days) trying to tune it and have failed miserably. I haven't heard of any bad instances other than mine. They're very nice up there and did their best. They just couldn't get the job done.
