89 crx camber kit?? also why does shifter vibrate??

I ordered tein basic coilovers for my car and I am wondering if i need a camber kit for the front.. its an 89 crx dx.. I cant find the skunk 2 contol arm kit for it anywhere, only the rear.. do I need one? what kind should I get?

also I just replaced my drivers side halfshaft and got my car aligned.. I noticed when i take off the shifter vibrates a little in the low end.. I am not sure if somethings wrong or if my alignment messed with it.. I do know that I need back tires and almost a front right tire, but I am hoping its not the new axle being different than the other side or something...

Shouldn't need an alignment to fix the how close the half shaft is, Those parts its in between don't move side to side so it shouldn't be as close as it is. Shouldn't need a camber kit cause when I dropped my rex to the ground it camber'd on it's own.

Ebay has a camber kit for your car thats pretty much a Skunk2 rep. upper control arm w/ adjustable ball joints for camber. A friend of mine just ordered a set. I'll let you know how they turn out.

The shifter vibrating seems to be a normal thing in the EF's from the ones I've seen. My HF used to do that and a few other members cars do that too. You probably just need new shifter bushings. If your going to lower your car a lot without a camber kit, at least have a spare set of tires since yours need to be replaced. Slamming the car will add a lot of neg. camber and will wear your tires really fast.

Uhhh...yes, he needs a camber kit. Ever wonder why those Dunlops you have were brand new in Jan. when I bought 'em and now they're slicks? Yeah, thats why.

hah yea all the hondas I have done so far have needed it.. I got the alignment b/c my car needed it anyway, they have a 6 month warranty. so when i throw the new suspension on I can get it done for free... I have always used spc balljoint kits, but they always smash the engine bay and leave niples in it.. and its the worst feeling in the world when that happens.. I am wanting to order one today so I can get it all at the same time and put it on and take it up for an alignment...

the vibration started after I put the new axle and got it aligned so thats what freaked me out. I didnt have the problem before..

Yeah, just ask f'n moooooook about ball joints smashing the engine bay.

If the shifter didn't rattle before you brought it into the shop for an alignment, I would take the car back up to the shop and complain.

are you using a short shifter? if you are, that is your problem... it's not a complicated fix, but I don't feel like typing out the explaination unless i have to...

that has more to do with slamming a car and not runnign stiff enough shocks, not so much the camber...

yea it is a cheap short throw but it works.. I am going to get it re aligned when I get the suspension put on... what would the short throw have to do with vibration and its pretty bad, not just a little buzz, but my dash from the radio down vibrates.. everything looks ok though underneath the car b/c i look everytime I drive it, hah... spork I saw your car at school today, it sits decently low, are you running a camber kit ot what?

SPC is the only name brand front kit i can find.. there is one on ebay called rhino which is a control arm, but its $70 shipped which freaks me out..
