the part about the costs that i find funny, is if you pay to show a car, its like 65 dollars, and you get another all weekend pass, but to pay for two weekend passes it costs like 10 or fifteen dollars more, and you have to park on the other side of the track.

i didnt go last year, but the year before i did. when i did go, i paid to race so that i got to park in the pits. i had a pavilion and cooler in the back and set it all up. then stolle, boner, and my friend mike all hung out there.

man, last year wasnt bad, but the year before that, it was HOT! i remember standing inside the bfg trailer, with fans in the shade, and the thermo said 115, and the year before that, it rained, the year before that, i got second degree burns all over my face from the goddamn sun. so last year was a nice suprise, hopefully this year will be too.

3 years ago was my first year and we were shocked by the cost of tickets, being the poor college kids that we were, but paid anyway to get in :frown:

2 years ago we outsmarted the man and crammed as many people as we could in the drivers trunks and only paid for a few admissions

Last year I guess someone tipped the nopi people off and they were checking tickets at the gates and at the parking lot, my friends had to go back and buy tickets :frown:

I am still at work for this years plan.

I am ready to be bashed for posting this, but before you bash me I should let you know that I pay full price for a lot of things that I think should be cheaper, but there ticket prices, food prices, souvenier prices are high high high!

I will be there this year, I took a week vacation around it so I can get my car ready, dont know if i want to race it, or show it, hell maybe both.

On a different note, I thought I was the only one who new about quik trips secret enegry drink, Its good to see other people enjoying the fresh, crisp, strawberry flavor of the booster.
