Recently I put on a rear disc conversion on my new hf. However, the ebrake cables that came with it are way too long. What should i do?.

Thanks In Advance

hmmm, use your old cables from your drums. there the exact length and I know the end that connects to the ebrake has the right end but I'm not for sure on the end near the disc brakes

there should just be a pin holding it on near the disc that you pop out, if I remember correctly

Well, I went to check it out, and there was a pin on the disc assemblies, however, the ones off the drum setup that came on the car didnt have the thing that the pin wouldve gone through, so I guess ima just order some for that year si model.

Okies - So I got the new ebrake cables. Now, what do i need to do to get the old ones off the disc assemblies? I messed with it for a few seconds to see that theres a lil clip and pin holding it in, but it seemed to be attached elsewhere. Will I have to take off the rotor to get to it? And who has a haynes manual for the 88-91 crx's? I cant friggen find it at parts stores!

the pin is held in by a cotter pin all you do is pull it out and tap the pin up and it should release the cable.
