Rotue 66 Cruise

Well its a new year and I have an Idea for a cruise. I've done this once before and even in the rain it was a blast, here is the plan:

Meet early in the morning at the Krispy Kreme on Bowles Ave. then take old Route 66 (hwy 44) all the way down to Meramec Caverns for a lunch and cave tour. We will no longer be jumping off hwy 44 as the road conditions are just too shitty for our cars, so we will make it a straight shot with one stop for gas. The cruise will take place rain or shine! last time i did this it was in the rain and it was still a blast, the caves provide plenty of shelter if it doesn't clear up as well.
You would have to supply your own lunch (there is a resteraunt at the caverns) and we will probablly be leaving about 10:00 AM from the Bowles av. Krispy Kreme. Cave Tours are $15 for adults but I will call ahead to get discount rates which are available for groups of 15 or more. There is also a river boat ride that will be open at the time if anyone is interested. I figured during the time between cave tours and lunch and what not it will be the normal meet and greet and photo opportunity as is usual with the meets.

Sunday April 22nd is the date that this is happening. look on the Calender :biggrin:

There will be a stop at a BP gas station along the way. (exact location coming soon)

The cruise ends at Meramec Caverns:
I-44 West, Exit 230 Stanton Missouri

After that, its what ever you want to do!!!
