you're not far from me.

and honestly it's hard to give recommendations when we don't know what type of scene you like.

would you like clubs, loud places but are laid back, pubs/hole in the walls/dive bars, something uppity, casual, whatever?

the landing's a good place for first timer's from what i hear. i personally hate it except for McGurk's and Morgan Street. if you wanna try "clubs", hit up Washington downtown, and dress nice. no sneakers.

there aren't really too many places here in the counties that are fun for a first timer. i'd head dowtown w/ some friends.
