You can not go wrong with a Koni Ground Control setup. It is track tested tried and true. Both come with a lifetime guarantee also, and there is a reason the companies stand behind their product. If that is out of your price range I would say go with GC and AGXs or illuminas. Both would be equally at home or for weekend warrior track outings. I have read good things about the function and form coilovers, I am just iffy about all these new coil over companies popping up.

yep, i'm running Ground Control coilovers w/ illuminas right now and it rides awsome. best setup i've had. i'm going with Koni yellows when I switch the setup to my hatch. Ground Controls and konis is tough to beat.

Track and then some in my case. :D I've had my Ground Control and Koni Sport strut setup for 6 years now, beginning with my "basic" setup (450lbs F/375lbs R GC's, off-the-shelf Konis) through my current setup (600lbs F/600 lbs R GC's, revalved Konis to 1100lbs). The latter setup is very harsh, but it's the setup for my car for heavy-duty autocross and track use...and it's not my daily driver anymore anyways.

If you decide on tracking/dragging/autocrossing your car once in awhile, the basic setup (or even softer as you can customize your springs) should be good enough. I wouldn't cut corners on a suspension setup...to me, it's one of the most underrated mods you can do for your car.

Check out shox.com for prices, and as mentioned, you can request for any kind of spring rates on the Ground Controls (300lbs on up).

bam, its kinda getting off track. he wanted opinions on two setups. im sure he has looked at verious others and narrowed it down, although they are totally different, but i would go with the tein basics. they are reasonably priced(for fully adjustables) and they have a good history. so i would spend the extra money and get the teins, you will be much happier in the end, plus then you could hang one of those little stuffed guys off your tow hook or sumthin, BONUS!

So much miss information! Tein basics are NOT fully adjustables. They are height adjustable and that is it. You are paying for a name and that is pretty much it.
