Welcome Back to STLHondas!

After 14 years, the OG forum is back! Mostly.

As some of you may remember, the original forum was hacked several times, each one worse than the last, until eventually the site became unrecoverable.

Back in September 2012, before all that happened, I upgraded the vBulletin software and made a database backup. October 13, 2026, I found that old backup.

Roughly 50 hours of converting the old vBulletin database to phpBB and getting everything working again.

Here's what survived:

- Original usernames and user accounts
- Topics and posts
- Avatars and signatures
- Attachments
- Private messages
- Even the old shoutbox, now converted to mChat!

This is NOT just an archive.

This is a fully functional restoration of STLHondas as it existed in September 2012. You can search through old discussions, reclaim your original username, make new posts, and even chat on the main page.

Want your old username back?

For privacy and security reasons, I did not bring over the original email addresses or passwords.

If you'd like to reclaim your old account, send an email to stlhondas@gmail.com with your original username, your current email address, and some kind of proof that the account belongs to you.

Once I've verified ownership, I'll associate your current email address with your original account. From there, you can simply use the Forgot Password function to set a new password and log in.

Please don't create a new account if you're planning to reclaim your original one. Usernames remain inactive if they aren't reclaimed that's why the user count is so low.

Im sure there may some bugs to work out I'll work through them as they appear.
