Just pick up an ef with a blown b20 vtec for $400 (track car) after a long 6 yrs without a Honda. Too long. This build may be slow. Have 2 kids and wife now but I hope to get to gateway by the end of the season. The b20 had a spun rod bearing. I picked up a ls short block for $100 and am going to slap that in until I can build the b20 the way I want to. Or I
Might pull the crank and rods from the ls block and use them in the honed and aligned b20 block. Any suggestions would be great. Trying to hit 12s all motor. I couldn't believe it when I found a type r head on this setup. Has s80 tranny with welded lsd mugen chipped p28 ecu. I think I got a pretty good deal for 400 and finally got another Honda

Was told the p28 was chipped idk. Still tearing it apart Had a spun bearing on the 2nd cylinder. Like I said just getting back into the Honda scene. Thanks for the encouragement
