Well I know how to do that. I was hoping someone knew what peices to take off and what bolts/screws to take out. That would save me time. Looks like I'm diggin in.

1. move both seats all the way back
2. remove shift knob
3. remove all the screws in the sides of the console i think there are 6 total, ones behind the glove box so open it and you will see one up in the corner ones in the same area on the drivers side too.
4. put it in 4th gear
5. pull up on the back of the console tilt it up till it clears the shifter.
6. pull the console away from the dash to remove it.
7. remove the 4 screws holding the radio mount.
8. pull the radio out and unplug it.
this is just a general guideline, if you break something it aint my fault, its been awhile since i took a radio out of a 4th gen so i may have missed some things.... good luck...

That helps. Thanx. I'll end up breaking something. I would even if I had directions in front of me. Thats my luck w/ cars. Never fails. Nobody's fault but mine, unless someone else is doing the work.

yea I just did it like 10 times to fix some ghetto rigging from the previous owner. its exactly what stolle said.
anyone know where to get a wiring diagram on the factory radio? I have a new cd player, but the idiot cut the old factory wiring harness so the colors are all crazy.

Stolle, you were right on! Except I only had 4 screws b/c my center console doesn't connect to the dash. And there was 2 bolts I had to loosen up to slide out the unit. But only about 15 minutes of work!
