You definitely have to know what you are doing to match a green color like that...I have seen many metallic colors that might match on the face, but the flop is completely off and just looks like crap. One option you can try is take it to a Sherwin Williams supplied shop and see if they have a Color-Eye. Its pretty much a certainty that the paint will match completely.

OK... well I have a touch-up pen that the previous owner gave me, and im almost certain that the code is on there, that should make it easier to match.

The code will definitely help, BUT im sure that there are Alternatives to the same paint code. For some odd reason, when cars are painted at factory, they will paint a white car, then black, then green, etc. And when they do that each car could have a slightly different shade of say that green it was painted. Now Honda arent NEAR as bad as GM about it but there still could be that variance. Im just afraid If you get just the door painted you wont be happy with the results. Most shops (with consent from owner) will blend the paint on the rear quarter and front fender/hood to help the paint look like it matches the original. Not trying to scare you out of it just a fair warning lolVTEC95EG2;284097 wrote:OK... well I have a touch-up pen that the previous owner gave me, and im almost certain that the code is on there, that should make it easier to match.

na bro, I hear ya... the thing is that the previous owner had this car painted a color that is slightly different than the Isle Green Pearl that the VTEC model came with from Factory... mirrors/targa/bumpers/spoiler weren't painted to save a little money (but in his defense you can't really tell and the car was taken car of exceptionally)...so unless every shop uses the same process to paint, the perfect scenario would be to contact the previous owner and ask him where it was painted, then take it there to have the door painted.CmeltoN;284098 wrote:The code will definitely help, BUT im sure that there are Alternatives to the same paint code.
