I am looking to have some body work done on the del slo. I wont need it painted but perhaps a prime or some sort of coating on it to keep the metal protected but the car will be "vynl wrapped".
Now it has a fiberglass front bumper that is unpainted or primed at the moment. The fenders have dings but it would be easier to simply replace them via certifit so those will be picked up next week as well as an oem replacement hood.
What i need is someone who is good at bodywork to fill/fix some door dings, and a "dent" on the upper portion of the rear quarter panel. The panel itself can be pushed with your finger to pop in and out so. Not sure how it was dented so high up on the car but its been that way for for the 7 years ive owned it. Car will have a fresh front bumper, fenders, hood, sideskirts "all unpainted" so whats left is the doors and rear quarter panel and trunk lid. I dont want dings or a dent to show when its wrapped in vynl.
Any suggestions? Im not in a time crunch as it is not a DD so i don't mind dropping it off somewhere for someone that wants a weekend side job.
Thanks!

Wish I had the time and room to pick this up. If you dont find anyone here you should try All The Details in Fenton. They do good work IMO. If you want the number LMK and I will dig it up. They are behind Gravois Bluffs.

My only problem with that is typically shops charge lots of $$...id prefer to find a guy who works at a shop and wants to tackle it on the weekend or during spare time for extra $ on the side....worst case scenario i "can" take it to a shop but willing to bet there's someone somewhere who wants to make some $$ on the side and knows what he's doing.getteg;281792 wrote:Wish I had the time and room to pick this up. Id also have no problem tearing it into pieces..fenders, hood, bumper etc and dropping them off...knocking out a bit at a time..but at that point you'd be coming to my garage to finish the doors and rear quarters. "Its heated & I do have a full size air compressor+lots and lots of tools

Paint is where a lot of the cost goes, and they are normally good with working on prices with people. If you end up tryin them tell them Brian sent you.
With that said, my weekends are booked from now till mid Feb otherwise I would for sure be down. However I dont have a primer gun so that would be an issue. I may be able to work something out for weeknights depending on where you live. My garage isnt heated so I would rather work on it in yours.
Feel free to PM me if you want to try and work something out.
