Fender Rolling and taking care of surface rust
Ok so back in 01 I tried to roll my fenders with a baseball bat. In the end it cracked some of the paint off and did a shitty job bending the damned lip inwards. So my question to you guys is do you know anyone that can roll them for me completely AND what should I do to take care of the surface rust? I had the idea of just grinding it down and rhino lining that small lip to prevent rust from every forming again. It is just on the very surface as well its not deep or anything and I figure something like rhinolining would prevent o2 from getting in there.

If the rust is not in a visible area, I would use something like POR 15 after doing some basic sanding/cleaning.

Yea it would not be visible post it getting rolled the corret way. I mean you can scratch the damned stuff and see bare steel so its not bad, its just something that you can somewhat see until it gets rolled. Also, POR 15?

Hmmmm that would work as well. Thing is I still need to find someone to roll the damned things fully/properly. Also, if its going to be invisible at that point, that is where I was considering the rhinoliner post the rust being ground off. Its not even bad whatsoever, I am jus ttrying to nip it in the bud before it gets bad.

Evo Terry rolled my fenders a couple years ago and did an awesome job. I'm not sure if he's still rolling fenders or not.
