paint code clarification

96 purple accord. ne one know the code. sticker is missing

EDIT: According to this site, it might be Black (Dark) Currant Pearl Clearcoat??

There isn't a purple for the '96 model year Accord. My guess is it's probably been repainted since the sticker is gone or it's not a '96. Sage Green, Sherwood Green, Eucalyptus Green, Frost White, Flamenco Black, Bordeaux Red, and Heather Mist were the only available factory colors for that year.

Like Waffles said there is a Black Currant color that is purple, but that wasn't available until the '97 model year. What is the letter in the tenth place of your VIN and do all your VIN's match? (Firewall, door jam, dashboard, etc.)
