door opens window moves

ok well the other day the window motor went out on the integra driver rear door. well the new problem is, when i go to open the door the window moves like it off track and getting caught on something. so the problem is i cant open the door more than 3inches cause the window starts to bind up and i am afraid its going to break. the wierd thing is nothing runs inside the door but something is moving the window, i cant even open the door to take the panel off to see whats wrong, what do i do?

you cant try helping it down with your hand just enough to get the door open?

I don't know then. The way you described it is hard to understand. I guess you could remove the door.

^ That might be difficult since he can't open the door.

Is the window down? The only thing I can think of is that the detent rod is hitting the window if it's down. It would be a huge pita, but since you are able to open the door a few inches, you might be able to get enough room to pop the door panel off. Or force it open and hope nothing breaks. lol

i thought about opening the front door and i can remove the back door, its a sqeeze but i can get to the bolt, but i did notice this morning i can get the door open enough to get the panel off and look up inside to see what happening

why dont you disconnect the battery and then open the door and proceed to take off the door panel and see whats going on inside the door?

its not like the window is going up and down, its like sliding around like its off track, and goes side to side like its getting in a bind cause something is hitting it

try putting pieces of cardboard in between the window and seal...enough to where you cant get anymore between them....that should keep the window from moving and see if you can open the door then
