Rust Repair on Trunk Lid

Post by Dan The Man »

Okay, the age old question of fixing rust. I'm looking at a car that has this rust on the trunk lid, I'm wondering how much it would cost to fix and have repainted?

as long as its (fixable) it would cost around $3-400 for us to fix and repaint it, so a junkyard trunk may be your best bet if there not rusted too....

from your pic it looks like mostly surface rust. Also its right at the seam so the metal is thicker. Only way to find out is sand dont grind. Just sand it out and put some black sealer on it untill you can find someone to paint it.
