color ideas.

i wanna paint my car i was thinking a satin white kind of thing any ideas?

it's pretty ugly black with a red hood and a little rust i need to take care of. i want something not many people have.

I wouldn't go with a stain white or any stain color, my miata is a flat black and people look at it as a quick job, I guess because most people that do stain and flat colors do it for quick not so nice job. I wish I would have never did a stain color now. Another problem is that it doesn't have the same UV protection as your base/clear coat.

A legit satin paint job is a base/clear. You mix a flat clear with a gloss clear and BAM satin.

With that said Im not sure white would be a good color to do in satin, but I have never seen it so I could be wrong.

storm troopered out sounds like a good name for how i wanna make my car look. the color white i want seems like it's going to be hard to find i could be wrong though cause, it may just be a primer color sorta look but nice. Kinda hard to explain.

I don't know yet, I don't really like sanding all too much, but then again it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper then getting it done professionally.
