debadging

Post by blueandy »

Didn't know if anyone did debadging this way so i figured i would slap it up here. What i do is grab a long line of fishing line, wrap around one finger on each hand, and make a ever so slight sawing motion. Then i rub the excess black crap off the paint very carefully. You can you a degreaser to but i would look at the warning labels first. Sorry if this is already posted from way back, just trying to help make hondas clean in st louis.

acrosolve will work best if you cant find that theres 3m adhesive remover.
if you can find that then theres goo gone and other citrus based adhesive removers.

It helps if the badges are at least warm. But spray it on and fishing line will work fine. I used the goo gone tool once and I definitely had to buff the paint afterwards... so use fishing line for small badges though a license plate insert always worked well for bigger badges oddly enough lol

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps
