Sort of bodywork

several months ago, the hydraulic supports on my rear hatch went out. I went o autozone and got the struts (they say were for my car) . they didn't have anywhere near the right male/female connections. so i returned them and now i was wondering if anyone else had the same issue and if they found replacements cuz im sick of almost being decapitated everytime i or a friend goes to put something in the trunk.

I got the replacement hood struts for my TL-S online somewhere, something like $70 shipped. I'll try to find the website again.

Thanks man, i hope they are the rigth ones, cuz seems like the return policy will be a bit of a pain in the ass to get the money back. but thanks man can't wait to have that dam trunk stay up on its own

Thanks man, i just got them yesterday, gonna spend some time putting them together this weekend. they look quite strange connections than the struts i have on the car already. but maybe it will makes sense once i look at the directions.

Once you hold them up to the stock ones you will see how they attatch. Its a little ball joint that is released by a metal C shaped clip
