This is a very good idea, I know that if I tried it something would go haywire... But there again I am not very good at anything body work related..

Anybody ever use a baseball bat? Does the same thing...

heat the same etc.

have someone drive the car slowly either direction, let the big end of the bat feed into the wheel well from the bottom of the tire and roll the bat all the way until it falls out the other side. Repeat forword and reverse
I had to learn this the hard way after miscalculating my drop, wheel size and tire size. I couldn't even drive the car when I fit the wheels on after doing this it was good to go

Don't be cheap and just use a damn fender roller. It makes life sooo much easier.

Also, another little input that might help some guys is on the rear fenders theres a 2 ply sheet of metal, instead of 1 ply like the front fenders and the rear's are initally a little harder to do sence they have 2 sheets of metal and what some people will do is cut vertical slits on the inside of the rear fenders, so when you roll it, it will be easier. Kinda like stress cuts when doing fabric around an edge or corner.

lol does roll your fender but not the same thing. You have no adjustment with the bat. With the flaring tool you have almost endless amount of adjustment giving you the exact flare you want. Also your wender well isnt perfectly round which is why the bat also doesnt work that well. Iv used both and the flaring tool worked awesome.
