You are getting pulled over because you are probably blinding other people driving.

I would not consider mcculloch a good brand name kit either.

Any pics of the cutoff?

^ lol wut?
McCullough manufactures many of the OEM HID kits in cars today. The issue is that the light is coming out of a Halogen housing not a good projector.
I would hate to see this car coming at me and if I was a cop you better believe I would take notice of whatever vehicle belonged to those UFO lights.
However, people will continue to put HID's in halogen housings just to get "the look." Its alright, we've all been there and we all grow up eventually.
I'm in recovery, I used to have 6000k HIDs in my halogen housings but now I've got some OEM Infiniti J30 dual projector headlights sitting in my house waiting for me to do a retrofit.
When I come back to the world of HID I will do it the right way.

oem hid KITS? or factory hid setups?

if they come on a bone stock car, which car did they come with?

I was more thinking phllips/denso/osram as far as dependable hid.

Its no different then driving on the road with fucktards who drive with their high beams on because they have a low beam light out or lifted trucks who low beams look like high beams. They made night/day mirrors for a reason. Besides, when you drive a slammed car, everyone's low beams look like high beams. Quit bitching.

Sorry I didn't. I don't know if they make oem hids straight from the factory....so I asked.

It is different though. Hid setups are brighter (esp. ~4k-5k) sitting side by side to a halogen lamp. Just because a light is pointed up doesn't mean its brighter. I know you already know this.
What if it is oncoming light?.....can you flip your mirror lever for that?

Then watch the outside line of the road...like the Missouri Drivers Guide says.

I do understand what your saying and where your coming from, but seeing people complain about this stuff is annoying after the 506th time.
