They actually use urethanes now, mostly single stage. Biggest problem is that its Sherwin Williams paint....lol

ah gotcha. I actually heard today that if you prep everything yourself, the paint job doesn't turn out half bad.

a paint job is only as good as it's prep job.

There are Painters and there are Applicators.

Usually Maaco has applicators.

I had bills body shop http://www.billsbodyshop.net do 3 crx project cars for me, all 3 step paint they were very reasonable, and not a slop & drop shop. A+++++++++++ for bills..

Most recent bills body shop re-make.. cut in rear fenders for me, rebuilt pass side where completly rusted...

Thread reviving here.

I am going to be doing some thinking on body work and paint for my integra. I am not sure if i will do the body work myself or not. Also I am going to more than likely do a jdm front, but will get that installed myself.

I didn't really see any prices in any of these responces, I am going to get quotes from some places down here in Festus area. I was curious on what people were shelling out on their body work and paint, if they have had it done.

Or if they know about how much it will be? Wether it be Maaco or a other shop.
