covering rust does not stop it!
you have to cut out the rusted areas..
now if you fix your first post to include this information your wont look like an idiot.
I never meant that you cover it and your dont have to cut it just simply sand it all out same difference.Any moron who would just cover rust up should know itll come through eventually. You can sand or remove it all out then you fiber glass it in,remove it again, and re fiberglass to create extra strength.Fiberglass isnt to hard but still make sure your even with it otherwise your body isnt going to look straight.

You can pay me later. thanks
If only i could i would trust me. i got like 250$ and this car, so i gotta make due with what i got. and if i dont fix the rust it will just get worse.
Let it go, the only way to properly fix that rust is by replacing the quarter panel. Dont listen to masacre about the fiberglass shit, it is not the proper way and fiberglass does not provide the proper amount of structural integrity. The only way to fix rust is by replacing it with good metal and welding it in, fiberglass will NOT last and will crack and will fall off leaving you with a bigger mess to deal with. If you want to keep it from getting any worse I would suggest getting a rust converter such as RUST-MORT and follow the directions. This will give you time to save your money to fix it right or buy another car. Whatever you do just dont waste your time and money on trying to repair rust with glass, its pointless and in the long run twice the work.

If you think so then sure fiberglass properly done will hold at least a good 5 years if strengthened 3-5 times.True metal would be WAYWAY more suggested to do but being cheaper and giving you time id do fiberglass that would give you time.Im fiberglassing what problems i have right now prob to give me time to get money for metal.
I need some of that RUST-MORT stuff. T-rock were can I get that stuff? Keep in mind Im planing on having you and steph paint my car and I dont want to make it more of a pain in the ass for you.
The few times i have dealt with rust it seems best if you cut out the rust and weld in a metal patch then fiber glass to smooth out the difference in the patch and panel.
